Dr. Lalit Kumar Gaur, is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Prabhudhan Degree College. “Physics education develops analytical thinking and scientific curiosity, enabling students to understand the fundamental principles that govern nature and technological advancement.” He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, and has qualified CSIR-UGC NET in Physical Sciences with an All-India Rank of 93, reflecting his strong academic and research capabilities. With several years of experience in higher education, he has previously served at institutions including IASE Deemed to be University (Sardarshahar), Jain Vishva Bharati University (Ladnun), and Seth G. B. Podar PG College (Nawalgarh), contributing to academic development and student mentorship. His research interests include the synthesis and characterization of metal oxide and doped semiconductor nanomaterials and the optical study of optoelectronic nanomaterials, and he has published research papers in reputed international journals and presented his work at national and international conferences. His teaching approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, practical experimentation, ICT-enabled learning, and student mentoring to promote analytical thinking and scientific exploration. In addition to teaching and research, he has contributed to academic administration as Head of the Department of Physics and is actively involved as Coordinator of the Yoga and Meditation Club, as well as a member of the Examination Committee, NAAC Criterion Committee, and IQAC, supporting institutional quality and governance. He has received recognitions such as the Young Scientist Award for Best Presentation and regularly participates in faculty development programmes and research workshops to enhance his academic and teaching skills.
