Dr. Smriti, Ph.D., M.Com, B.Com, B.Ed, and HTET qualified, is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Prabhudhan Degree College. “Commerce education builds financial understanding, business awareness, and decision-making skills that prepare students for professional success in a dynamic economic environment.” She holds a Ph.D. from Om Parkash Jogender Singh University, Churu, along with M.Com, B.Com, and B.Ed qualifications, reflecting her strong academic and teaching foundation. With several years of experience in higher education, she has previously served as Assistant Professor at Maharani Lakshmi Bai College, Bhiwani Rohilla, Hisar, where she contributed significantly to academic and institutional development, including roles as Counsellor of the Red Cross Society, Member of the IQAC Cell, Nodal Officer of the Drug and Tobacco Prevention Cell, and Incharge of the Commerce Society. Her teaching expertise includes Accounting, Finance, Business Law, and Management, and she focuses on concept-based teaching, curriculum planning, and student mentoring to help learners achieve strong academic outcomes while connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world business practices. She is also actively involved in research and academic writing, having presented papers at international conferences and contributed publications on topics such as green marketing, digital banking transformation, and the role of psychology in business administration, which strengthens the academic environment and promotes analytical learning among students. In addition to teaching and research, she actively participates in student mentoring, project guidance, admission processes, academic coordination, and institutional committee work, supported by her strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
