Bachelor of Computer Applications BCA

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is a three-year undergraduate degree programme focused on computer applications, software development, and information technology. The programme is designed to equip students with strong technical knowledge, programming skills, and problem-solving abilities required in today’s digital and IT-driven industries.

Students gain both theoretical understanding and practical exposure through programming, database management, web technologies, and project work. The course follows the university-prescribed syllabus and academic structure.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the BCA programme must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board

  • Students from Science, Commerce, or Arts stream are eligible

  • Basic knowledge of Mathematics or Computer Science is desirable

  • Admission is granted on a First Come, First Served basis, subject to availability of seats

  • Eligibility and merit criteria will be as per university norms
